Lady Leopards Win 5th Straight – Claim #2 Seed
Freshman Caitlin Myers hit seven 3-pointers against Goldendale
Freshman Caitlin Myers has been on fire shooting the ball for the last couple weeks, but on Saturday she capped it with her best game of the season. Myers hit seven 3-pointers, finishing with 26 points to lead Zillah’s girls to a 61-42 victory over the Goldendale Timberwolves. With two wins over the Lady wolves this season, Zillah assured themselves of the #2 seed from the SCAC West and an opening round home game in the SCAC District Tourney.
Alissi Uasike controlled the inside play for Zillah adding 18 points. Abby Ziegler grabbed 12 rebounds. Zillah will put their 5 game winning streak on the line against undefeated and #1 ranked Granger on Thursday, February 11th. Myers has connected on 21 3-pointers during the 5 game winning streak.
